Chemical pallets are offered nationwide by chemical pallet manufacturer Compliance Packaging International Ltd under the license number CP-984. CPI also delivers used chemical pallets to companies wishing to reduce pallet costs.

Over twenty five years ago chemical and plastics corporations in Europe decided to unify common chemical pallet sizes for the transport of chemicals and polymers.

Today chemical pallets are used in many industries for the value of having harmonized sizes and standards as well as having a returnable exchange value in Europe at their end of life in the supply chain.

Chemical pallets are also called CP Pallets or CPs. There are 9 different chemical pallet designs known as chemical pallet 1, chemical pallet 2, chemical pallet 3, chemical pallet 4, chemical pallet 5, chemical pallet 6, chemical pallet 7, chemical pallet 8 and chemical pallet 9.

The most common chemical pallets used by North American industry, listed in order of most common to least common are the CP3, CP1, CP2, CP6, CP9, and CP8 pallets.

CP pallets generally correspond to a certain type of packaging and handling such as racked vs. floor stacked, and single stacked vs. multiple loaded units stacked atop each other. American chemical companies usually move their products in four primary types of packaging: drums — both steel and plastic, supersacks, boxes, and bags.

If a company is transporting sacks or boxes of any kind, they should consider type 1 or 6 chemical pallets.

The Chemical Pallet 2 (CP2) was designed to replace the euro pallet. This pallet is sometimes used in North America in place of the euro pallet when shipping goods to Europe.

CP 3 and CP 9 pallets were designed to transport super sacks and large drums.

The Chemical Pallet 8 is only meant to move super sacks.
